Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how vidforge (“the app”, “we”), operated by Huynh Nguyen under the Vidforge Studio name, accesses, uses, stores and shares information when you connect your accounts on Google / YouTube, Meta (Facebook) and TikTok.

1. Who we are

vidforge is a personal tool operated by Huynh Nguyen, an individual based in Vietnam. Contact: lunaznim@gmail.com.

2. Scope

The app is used only to create videos and publish them to accounts that belong to the person who authorised it (the account owner). It does not publish on behalf of anyone else, and it does not collect information about other people’s accounts.

3. Information we access

We request only the permissions needed for the features below.

Google / YouTube

• Basic channel information (channel ID and title), to confirm which channel is connected.
• Permission to upload videos to the connected channel, and to set their title, description, thumbnail, privacy status, scheduled publish time and AI-content label.
• Metadata and processing status of videos uploaded by the app.
• In the future, YouTube Analytics data for those videos (views, watch time), to measure performance.

Meta (Facebook)

• The list of Facebook Pages you manage, and a Page access token for the Page you choose.
• Permission to publish Reels to that Page, and the content and status of Reels published by the app.

TikTok

• Basic account information (open ID, display name, avatar), to show which account is connected.
• Permission to send videos to your TikTok drafts (inbox), where you finish and publish them yourself in the TikTok app.

4. How we use information

Information is used only to publish, schedule and track videos on the account owner’s own accounts, and to show the owner the status of those videos. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.

5. Storage and security

• Access and refresh tokens are encrypted before they are stored.
• Data is stored on infrastructure controlled by the operator, protected by access controls.
• Tokens are kept while the account remains connected and deleted when it is disconnected or on request. Video metadata is kept for as long as the corresponding video is managed in the app.

6. Sharing

We do not sell information, and we do not share it with third parties except the platform it came from, when performing an action you requested (for example, uploading a video to YouTube). We do not use any data obtained through Google, Meta or TikTok APIs to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

7. Google API Services disclosure

The app’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The app uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke the app’s access at any time from your Google Account security settings.

8. Data deletion

You can stop the app’s access and have your data deleted at any time:

1. Revoke access on the platform:
   • Google / YouTube: Google Account permissions.
   • Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → remove vidforge.
   • TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions → remove vidforge.
2. Request deletion: email lunaznim@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and the account you connected. We delete stored tokens and data associated with that account within 30 days and confirm by email.

9. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required by the platform you connect, and we do not knowingly process their information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes take effect on the effective date shown at the top of this page.
